From 28 sq m to a functional home – with room for everything.
How do you create zones, storage and a sense of space in only 28 sq m? Here, we took advantage of the ceiling height to lower the loft, so that we had a full wardrobe below and a spacious office above – without losing light or air. And the crowning glory? a hanging bed in the ceiling! This frees up the entire loft for new use, and helps create a completely new atmosphere in the room, when the bed can actually be "packed away".
A partition wall, hidden storage and built-in furniture provide both function and visual peace from the clutter. The kitchen was upgraded with simple and economical measures: The fronts were replaced with veneer and the countertops were tiled. The entire expression is tied together with warm materials and thoughtful details.
The result is an apartment that feels significantly larger than it is – with flexible zones, plenty of hidden storage and a holistic, calm atmosphere that can withstand both life and change over time. A good example of how smart, site-built solutions can make a big difference – even with a tight budget.
