Hi, my name is Andrea - architect, color enthusiast and passionate about homes that work in reality.

The road to getting here has not been entirely smooth. When I studied architecture, I realized early on that I needed more than theory. I wanted to understand how things are actually built - not just how they are drawn. That's why I took over a year off to work as an adult apprentice in the carpentry trade. It gave me a completely different relationship to materials, solutions and what can actually be done in practice.

 

Later, I bought my own apartment - a complete renovation where I tore down the ceiling and walls and started from scratch. I filmed the process, shared my experiences - and discovered that what I am most passionate about is making architecture, interior design accessible, understandable and personal.

 

Today, I share my knowledge here on the blog, where you'll find posts about everything from floor plans and colors to interior design choices, lighting, and smart solutions. I also create products and simple recipes that help you learn the tricks of the pros - in a way that's practical and easy to use in your own home.

 

I don't believe in perfect homes - I believe in homes that fit the life you live. Good architecture doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. It just has to be smart.
